Knox Whiskey Works is a small batch, craft distillery based in Knoxville, whose mission is to harness the collective skill, passion and expertise of East Tennessee to create authentic, distinct and delicious hand- crafted spirits. Lead by their head distiller, they craft their spirits in small batches from locally sourced products. They also work with local farmers and artisans to create unique spirits reminiscent of East Tennessee. Like a step back into time, The Phoenix Pharmacy and Soda Fountain is reminiscent of a late 1930's/early 1940's working pharmacy and soda shop. The East Tennessee History Center is part of the Knox County Public Library System. It houses the Knox County Archives and the Calvin M. McClung Historical Collection. Each year 30,000+ people visit them for genealogical and history research purposes.
