From its wide-ranging variety of ethnic foods to its award-winning chefs and unique architecture environments, Knoxville restaurant patrons have opportunities to enjoy delights that are traditionally only thought of in America’s big cities. East TN Tours brings you to some of the city’s most renowned kitchens to sample dishes that will fill your food journals with stars and keep you coming back for more. Beyond the main course of delicious foods, patrons will also learn fascinating insights into Knoxville's rich history and background of the restaurants to be visited from the tour guide and the chefs themselves!
East TN Tours is incredibly excited to offer this unique culinary experience to visitors and locals alike, as there is NOTHING like this in town!
COME HUNGRY! Based on customer feedback, we would suggest not eating anything earlier in the day (unless you need to eat/drink for medical or dietary purposes), as most tour guests will tell you there is MORE than enough food to make up a meal!
Our tours are unique in that you can come on them multiple times, and never get the same food! How do we do that, you may ask?! Well, our business model is designed in that we don't ever tell the chef's what to make for any food tour...they just make whatever is on their heart, mind and soul that day, and serve it to us! Sometimes (and quite often) we may get to try stuff that's not even on the menu yet, and get to be the "new menu tasters"! If you'd ask us what you'd be eating on any given food tour, well....we couldn't tell you... because it's a surprise to us too! So you can literally come on one of our yummy food tours and get something different every single time, even though we go to the same restaurants :)
Start time on Sunday's Bountiful Brunch Tour is 1:30 P.M and lasts until approximately 3:30 P.M. They are conducted on the 1st, 3rd and (when applicable) 5th Sunday of each month, unless there are certain special events or occasions which prohibit us from touring. We strongly suggest not planning anything or having to be anywhere immediately after 3:30pm as sometimes tours can run long (because we have so much fun!). If you would like to request a date not currently on our schedule, please email us at Info@EastTNTours.com or call 865-410-TOUR (8687).
*Note: During UT football season, we will STILL conduct Sunday tours, regardless of the week of the month, if there is a home football game that previous/day before Saturday for your convenience!
Small alcoholic drink samples will be available for tasting as well. They will ONLY be provided to guests over 21 years of age, however, so be sure to bring a valid I.D. with you as well for verification!
During this tour, you will also learn about the fun and special history of downtown Knoxville and how it has shaped everything from the architecture, culture and even the food!
For this special brunch tour, we will go to THREE of our normal Chef's Table Tour's five restaurants to sample a wide array of brunch foods and drink samples like mimosas and bloody mary's as well! To view more info about the restaurants we could be stopping at on your tour, and the ones we stop at on our regular Chef's Table Tours, be sure to check out OUR PARTNERS page.
The minimum amount of people are 2 guests, and all normal tours max out at 12 guests. If you wish to know more about larger tours for over 12 people, please visit our CUSTOM/PRIVATE TOURS page HERE.
